(By the way, I realize how small these "backgrounds" are. I actually just made them out of individual tiles to be used for backgrounds for printables...perhaps you could use them for this too!)

This is just something I'm going to print out and frame, just to remind myself to sloooow down and breathe when things get too stressful! :)
I put all of the Owl Notes on the same page instead of making four separate pages. You can download them here.

Decorated Boxes, Hair Flowers, and a Necklace

Hello again! Here are some of my latest crafts! I've recently been very inspired by the "Shabby Chic" trend, so a lot of these crafts reflect that. I'm actually in the middle of making more things at the moment, so I'll be adding pictures later. Thanks for looking! :)

This is my favorite craft that I've done in a while! I painted small matchboxes with white acrylic paint, stamped all over with purple ink, and attached a pretty feather. Perfect for putting earrings in!

Vintage Looking French Quotes Printables

Hey again! This is my second try at making printables. I had a lot of fun playing with fonts and colors and stuff. They aren't the greatest, but I think I'm definitely going to print and frame a few of them! Please only use these for personal use. I did not create the background images, I just used quotes and edited the pictures. Thanks!

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."-Emerson

"To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same fields, it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again." -Emerson

"When you were born you were crying & everyone else was smiling. Live your life so at the end, your'e the one who is smiling & everyone else is crying."-Emerson

"Be yourself; no base imitator of another, but your best self. There is something which you can do better than another. Listen to the inward voice and bravely obey that. Do the things at which you are great, not what you were never made for."-Emerson

Valentine's Day Crafts (with free printables!)

Hey everyone! I was trying to come up with some things to decorate my apartment for Valentine's Day, but I don't really have anything. So, of course, I made some stuff! I plan to print these out and put them in decorated frames (I may have a picture of those and many more Valentine's Day crafts tomorrow). Do whatever you'd like with them! I have one request, however...please only use these for personal use. I borrowed some of the images from random websites through Google so I don't want to break any copyright laws or anything! Anyways, here they are.

More Jewelry!

A lot of this jewelry is a little bit more fancy than my usual style. Most of it has Swarovski crystals and/or natural gemstones...oooh! Take a look.

My favorite piece of all of these! This is a necklace of black pearls and then a focal piece with three black onyx cabochons on a silver plated setting with silver chain hanging down.

Giving Some New Crafts a Try

I've been doing lots of research online on various kinds of crafts in the past week. The projects below are some of the new things I've tried. I'm pretty happy with most of them!

Organza and Lace Flower Hair Pin

Earrings Galore!

I made a LOT of beaded earrings over my winter break. As you can see, I have a current obsession with chain and dangly earrings. Here are the pictures...

Holiday Clay Jewelry- Halloween, Autumn, and Christmas!

The jewelry in this post is some of the most recent clay jewelry I've made. Yay for holidays! I'll be posting again in a few days. I've been very busy the past few weeks making lots of beaded jewelry and trying out some new crafts!

Cookie Sheet Ornaments- these were last years batch and my first try. (See the last picture for this year's!)

Miscellaneous Clay Stuff

This is a bunch of clay stuff I've made that doesn't really fit into any of the other categorized posts I've made.

Star Candleholder

Various Miniature Clay Desserts and Candy

The title for the post pretty much explains what will be in here...mini clay desserts. Most of these were made pretty recently. Enjoy!

Chocolates

Miniature Polymer Clay Cakes

Some of these cakes were made a long time ago, some were made more recently. It's pretty obvious which ones are which based on the quality of work.  :)

Clay Stuff- Canework and Random Designs

Sooo....I've been working with clay for a little over two years now. In that time, I've accumulated quite a bit of stuff. This post is mostly just canework, pieces made from molds, and other random designs I've made- it's some of the stuff I made when I first started working with clay so it's not the best. The next few posts I make will include the jewelry and miniatures that I mostly do as of now.
